Kym Ryder as Michelle ConnorListen up folks - the British soap award nominations are in.

The stars of the small screen are getting set to fight it on out on who's the sexiest, the nastiest and the all-round best in the British soap universe.

So,who's up for an award?

In the sexiest female category, Corrie's Kym Ryder (Michelle Connor) is up against Samantha Janus (Ronnie Mitchell) and Rita Simons (Roxy Mitchell) from the Albert Square lot, alongside a loada other sultry peeps.

Kym's also up for the best actress gong along with Lacey Turner (Stacey Branning) from 'Enders, Gemma Merna (Carmel McQueen) from Hollyoaks and plenty of other leading ladies.

Meanwhile, the villian of the year award sees Robert Kazinsky (EastEnders' Sean Slater) battle it out in the nasty stakes with Jack P. Shepherd (Corrie's David Platt), and many other murky characters of the soap world.

The awards bash, hosted by Fern Britton and Phillip Schofield, will be broadcast on ITV2 on May 7th.
