Geri Halliwell and Emma BuntonGeri Halliwell and Emma BuntonThe Spice Girls are taking their much-hyped comeback to a new level.

One that's a bit pants around the edges, it seems.

Pants of the underwear variety.

News has reached us that the Spicy ones have signed a £5m deal to release their 15-track greatest hits album through sexy US underwear chain Victoria's Secret.

The promo comes hot on the heels of the Spice Girls' ad deal with Tesco, which will earn each of them around £1m to appear in a commercial for the supermarket giant.

An insider from Victoria's Secret told the Daily Mirror:

"It's an unbelievably great opportunity for all involved. We're just so excited about it.

"The Spice Girls are icons all over the world and we're delighted to have them on board."

And from the sounds of it, the Spicers themselves are also thrilled at the move, which will see the lingerie stores sell Spice Girl trivia such as charm bracelets and karaoke DVDs, as well as the albums themselves.

"They do great bras and every girl wears a bra, " Mel B noted wisely. "And they should - at some point in their life. Unless they don't need to wear one."

Umm, right.
