Superhero fans would certainly know there is no Spiderman without Mary Jane Watson.
And Kirsten Dunst knows this more than anyone.
The Hollywood actress plays Spider-Man's love interest in the film, and has demanded an "exorbitant" amount of money to star in another movie after her three film deal ends.
According to America's Star magazine, Kirsten's adamant she will not return to the role after filming on Spider-Man III is completed - unless swayed by a huge salary and amazing script.
She says, "Unless they pay me an exorbitant amount of money, this will be my last one."
The 23-year-old beauty admits, "If there is more of a story to tell and Sam Raimi (Director) is on board, and everyone is, then maybe."
It looks like the filmmakers have caught themselves in their own web.
Spidey might just have found his match.
