But while waiting for the real stars of the Iron Man premiere last night in Leicester Square, we thought we'd alleviate our boredom by talking to the Strictly Come Dancing hot-stepper.

"Surely," we thought to ourselves, "here's a dude that needs as much publicity as he can get - he'll be up for a natter."

And so we called him over for a chat.With his girlf Zoe Hobbs

Over he came, leaving his lady, Zoe Hobbs, loitering on the red carpet, only to pretend that his new dance show was, like, way too top secret for the likes of us.

And he wouldn't give us any top tips for potential auditionees.

We can't help but think that last time we bumped into him, on a night out in Studio Valbonne, he was rather more forthcoming.

In fact, we'd go so far as to say the man found us visually rather appealing. (Listen, we've taken a Brendan Cole-sized knock, we need to big ourselves up.)

The only differing factor last night was the presence of his new lady love. Interesting, non?
