Admit it - there's nothing hotter than a sexy accent.
But could that be the reason British actors do so well Stateside?
Maybe, according to Stephen Fry.
In the Radio Times, Stephen suggested US audiences fall for British actors because of their accents, not for their acting abilities.
He said: "I shouldn't be saying this, but I sometimes wonder if Americans aren't fooled by our accent into detecting a brilliance that may not really be there."
His comments came as the Brits stole the show at this year's Golden Globes.
Stephen continued: "I mean, would they notice if Jeremy Irons or Judi Dench gave a bad performance? Not that those two paragons ever would, but it's worth considering."
But there's more...
Accents aside, Stephen also claimed British actors are a bit uptight in front of the cameras:
"I've always believed Americans have one huge, ready-made gift when it comes to acting in front of a camera - the ability to relax."
