It was an epic dance-off...
But after an evening of hip wriggles, fancy footwork and the odd spangle the winner of Strictly Come Dancing was announced.
And the night belonged to Alesha Dixon - and her partner Matthew Cutler.
The former Mis-Teeq singer beat EastEnders actor Matt Di Angelo in a tense evening of ballroom.
Len Goodman even described her as the best female dancer the show has ever seen - excluding the professionals of course.
The show saw a performance by the Spice Girls, some tap dancing from Bruce Forsyth and even some compliments from Craig Revel Horwood.
The favourite to lift the trophy, there was always the possibility of an X Factor style shock, but Alesha left the studio a dancing queen with some silverware for Christmas.
