It's no surprise that folk are happy about Kate Moss' split with Pete Doherty.
Some of her buddies are cock-a-hoop and hope it will help the model get back on her feet.
Tara Palmer-Tomkinson has spoken out about the party scene that she left behind to overcome her drug and alcohol addictions, and told how she supports the supermodel for splitting with rehabbing Pete.
Tara told The Sun: "Kate - I love her. I have always been friends with her. But I had to back off from that scene a long time ago.
"It's horses for courses - if I was going to get better I had to stay away from Kate and that group.
"I had to stay away from drugs and partying but if I saw her now I'd say hi."
The Dirty Cows presenter famously quit the party scene to get clean in 1999 after a shocking appearance on The Frank Skinner Show.
She went on: "I think Kate has definitely done the right thing getting away from Pete. She had to.
"You have to make a decision and sacrifice certain things and certain pepole in your life in order to not be that person."
Wise words indeed.
