With a lavish upbringing and lifestyle to match, socialite Tara Palmer-Tomkinson is no stranger to a bit of bling.
But her latest escapade takes the phrase diamond geezer to an entirely different level.
The 35-year-old party girl was out for dinner with a gentleman friend when he obligingly slipped a £10,000 jewel into her dessert.
As you do.
All very romantic and so on, but there was one slight problem.
Seems TPT's dinner date got a little carried away with the booze and promptly forgot to inform her of his generous pudding gesture.
Result: Tara tucks in unawares and polishes her plate off, diamond and all.
She told Metro: "He had too much to drink and forgot to tell me it was there."
Understandable, of course. Easy to see why the odd five figure jewel slips your mind - could happen to anyone.
Even by Tara's standards it must have been up there with one of the most expensive meals ever consumed.
What we want to know is did she find it later? After a visit to the ladies...
