Tara Palmer-Tomkinson knows to do just that.
That's why she has been giving away tickets to see her compete in Comic Relief Does Fame Academy to non-starry types.
Rather than invite her famous connections, Tara has asked some other players in her life to watch her sing...
Like the policeman who found her stolen car and the locksmith who bailed her out when she was locked out of the house in the nip.
And, according to the Daily Mirror, Tara let her parents' local shopkeepers come in the place of Prince Charles.
Surely she's gotta win now?
