Thandie NewtonThandie NewtonWhat a fun-tastc eve was had when we rocked up to the Lavender Trust's 10th Aniversary shindig.

We headed down to Claridge's hotel in London for a night of revelry and frolics.

All in the glitziest of company, of course.

We partied the night away quaffing Lavender Fizz cocktails and chowing down on birthday cake made by Jane Asher's own fair hands.

And if that wasn't enough, we were serenaded by one of our fave songstresses... Annie Lennox  took to the stage singing classics such as There Must Be An Angel and Downtown.

We then had our socks blown off by Thandie Newton who sung I’m On Fire and Islands In The Stream - what a talented lady she is.

Thandie had a chinwag with us just before her performance and she kept us guessing about what she was going to do.

She told Sky Showbiz: "I was here last year so I'm back to provide some entertainment."

She wasn't giving anyhting away about her performance, saying she'd do "whatever comes to me when I get up on stage".

... But if her sing-song was off the cuff we'd eat our hats.

Yet there was important side to all the fun, the night was about raising some moolah too - and didn't they do just that.

With auctions and prizes including a hair makeover with a top John Frieda stylist and a year’s supply of Nude skincare, the money came rolling in... so congrats to them for raising over £300,000 on the night.
