It's not often that we feel the need to leave the inner sanctum of the Showbiz Shed.
But for a Prince we'd make the effort.
So when we heard whisperings that Prince was having a secret gig we waved farewell to the Shed and popped along to London's Koko. And boy, what a good decision it was.
He rocked up on stage, oozing cool at 11.30pm and proceeded to blow the crowd away with an amazing set... mixing the old with the new and throwing in some top covers for good measure.
Almost three hours later and the audience were still crying out for more...
But after three encores and one faux humping attack from an over-friendly female groupie, Prince called it a day.
Highlights of the show were his classic Kiss and an amazing rendition of Nothing Compares.
If this is the standard set for his August dates we'll be sure to beg, steal or borrow (although we don't condone such behaviour, of course) to lay our hands on tickets.
But we reckon we might be in for a fight... tickets for Prince's O2 Arena Dates (previously the Millennium Dome) went on sale this morning (May 11th) at 9am.
Check out all the VIPs - we were actually VVIPs - who rocked up to rock out with Prince in the gallery above.
