"Gorgeous" - that's how Tom Cruise has described his new daughter.
"A real champ" - that was how he described his girlfriend Katie Holmes.
Does that mean she kept schtum whilst pushing out her 7lbs 7oz bubba?
According to The Sun and Daily Mirror, the future Mrs Cruise did follow the Scientology belief of keeping silent during labour.
Luckily, Tom was there to stroke her brow and hold her hand and The Sun reports he even recorded the whole thing.
And he isn't half proud.
He emailed TV presenter Diane Sawyer after the delivery on Tuesday, saying: "It's a girl! Her name is Suri, she's absolutely gorgeous. Kate was and is an absolute champ."
A source close to Katie's family revealed: "(Suri) has lots and lots of dark hair and big, blue eyes. She's going to be a beautiful baby."
She was born on the same day and in the same hospital in Santa Monica, California, as Brooke Shields' new tiddler, Grier Hammond.
Katie and Suri were sent home within 24 hours... and you can expect to see the Dawson's Creek actress getting back in shape sharpish for her summer wedding.
Two days before she gave birth, she splashed a wad of cash on some new togs - in her pre-pregnant size.
