Tom Tells All On His Love For Katie

In fact, he is in big love. He can't stop yapping about his new squeeze Katie Holmes and is on a chat show tour letting the world know all about it...

This week he was on The Oprah Winfrey Show and took all of six seconds before discussing his favourite subject.

"I can't be cool, I can't be laid back," he said excitedly bouncing up and down on the sofa like a lovesick pup.

Tom admitted he has already thought of marriage, despite dating the 26-year-old actress - who he describes as "beyond cool" - for only a month.

Cruise, who will star in Steven Spielberg's "War of the Worlds" next month, then told how they met.

"I admire her and I thought I wanted to meet her - so I called her," said Tom, who revealed he covered her hotel room in rose petals just days after they met.

"I'm a romantic. I love that stuff," added Tom, who later had a mock fight with the veteran host.

On another entertainment show, Extra, he couldn't stop his gushing - bordering on nauseating - praise for Katie.

"I don't want to disappoint her. She's such an extraordinary woman. It's beautiful. I feel really happy. I'm more than enamored."
