If we could get the pity plate and pass it around, please, Tara Reid is in need of a bit of violin action.
The American Pie star has reveled that she's had a tough time of it...
And it's all the media's fault.
She claims that endless pictures of her with a glass in hand have done nothing but upset her and her family.
"I think I'm just so misunderstood as a person... It's like every time you see me out they'll only show a picture of me, like, with a cup in my hand.
"They won't show all the benefits I'm involved in with children. They never show anything positive.
"They forget that I'm someone's sister and I'm someone's daughter. It hurts their feelings. My mom, it breaks her heart. I'm her daughter... she wants to go out and kill them."
But Tara does reckon she's over the worst of it now, thanks to her recent honesty surrounding her forays into plastic surgery.
"The last couple of years have been really rough for me, kinda like being in a storm or being in a hurricane.
"Coming clean (about plastic surgery) and getting myself fixed, I feel like it's the end of the storm and I'm starting to see a rainbow."
