There's often more to bands splitting than meets the eye.
And so it seems with those Sugababes.
A couple of months after original member Mutya Buena decided to leave the group - saying she wants to spend more time with her daughter - some comments from Keisha Buchanan reveal all might not have been well.
According to the Daily Mirror, talking about what Mutya's replacement, Amelle Berrabah, brings to the group, Keisha revealed:
"She adds a touch of sophistication. A classy element." Ouch.
When quizzed about Mutya, Keisha said: "Mutya brought more of a street element. When Mutya was in the band there was something edgy about it, whereas with Amelle it's more slick.
"People say we look more united now." Was that a twist of the knife?
"Mutya had been in the band since she was 11 and it just wasn't something she wanted to do any more.
"The main difference is that now everyone's happy. When someone's not happy with their situation, like Mutya was, it can start to have a negative effect on everything else around them."
