It's been attempted before and now movie makers are going to give it another go.
A new Carry On film has been announced, starring Victoria Silvstedt, Shane Richie and Vinnie Jones.
Carry On London promises plenty of double entendres, slapstick and more than a dollop of sauce.
Ex-EastEnder Shane said: "The original films... kept us all laughing for over 30 years, so it's a great honour... to be carrying on a wonderful tradition."
Vinnie added: "I'm really looking forward to it, Matron!"
The plot will revolve around Lenny's Limos chauffeur company and a big showbiz awards night... called The Herberts.
Shane will take the lead as Lenny, Victoria will play a starlet and Vinnie is gangster Tony 'Two Fingers' Le Berc.
We can also look forward to characters like LA film boss I.P. Freely.
There's already been one attempt to revive the Carry On tradition, made famous in the sixties and seventies by stars like Barbara Windsor and the late Sid James.
Carry On Columbus, in 1992, starred comedians including Julian Clary and Rik Mayall, but was far from a hit with fans.
Comic Strip Presents... director Peter Richardson will be directing the new £6.4 million film. He said:
"Fans of the Carry On film around the world should be thrilled that this great British institution is returning in all its glorious vulgarity."
