The 31-year-old is desperate to give it another go despite flopping badly as a solo artist.

According to the Daily Mail, friends says the mum-of-three wants to reform the Spice Girls next year for their 10th anniversary - or front a new band of her own.

A source close to manager Simon Fuller told the paper: "She wants to be famous for something other than being David Beckham's wife."

It is a remarkable turnaround after Posh and Becks first got together in March 1997.

Then he was just a fledgling footballer at Man Utd while she was in the most famous band in the world.

But while he has gone from strength to strength, captaining England and becoming the best paid player in the world, Posh's pop career has gone the other way.

Recently she turned her hand to clothes, designing a whole range - but clearly she wants another stab at chart success.
