So, why did Ziggy pitch up at a mahoosive awards ceremony without her in tow?

Yes, we're talking about the National Television Awards.

The Zigster arrived on his lonesome ownsome, leading us to ponder, is there trouble in Chiggyland?

Luckily we managed to grab a word with Ziggy, who was in a chatty mood, as he commented to us: "I get to come to an awards ceremony, how cool is that? And I haven't even acted."

Yes, yes dear. But more importantly, is he engaged to Chanelle or not, for crying out loud?

Ziggy told Sky Showbiz: "Ah, I'm not engaged, no."

So there you have it.

Who was Zig looking forward to meeting at the awards?

He told us: "Anyone, the Hollyoaks girls, anyone who's cool."

Fair enough, but where was the lovely Chan?

Zig said: "I believe she's not here. I think she's gone to Chinawhite, there's a party there tonight."

Interesting.

Before he flitted off to mingle with other stars and sign autographs, he did tell us what his next plans are.

He said: "I start a West End theatre show in about three weeks."

Now, we wonder, will Chanelle be there on opening night, or not?

Guess we'll have to wait and see.
