Because, um, glass is kinda see-through, so hiding behind it may just defeat the point.
So, we strained our eyes, and wracked our brains to come up with a solution to this lass' actions.
Either it's a game, or she's bending forward and thus looks like she's hiding.
Or maybe she's practising for a movie role that involves being inconspicuous, in the back seat of a car, behind a pane of glass...
One of her roles involved wielding a sword and doing some v impressive martial-art kicks and stuff.
