London was buzzing last night... Whitney Houston was coming to town.
So of course we were the first ones to make sure we were close to the action.
We tootled down to the Legends Ball, in aid of Caudwell Children's charity...
And boy, oh boy aren't we glad we did.
Not only was it the perfect summer eve but the celebs flocked down to boot.
We saw everyone from Joan Collins to Gemma Atkinson and they were all decked out in their summer finery - it really was a sight to behold.
We spied Sinitta getting a helping hand from her stylist with a little wardrobe malfunction...
And prat of the eve award defo has to go to David Gest... who had a diva mo refusing to get out of his car and up the purple carpet along with the rest - and having to be whisked around the back instead.
We then had a chinwag with the Sugababes and it seems we weren't the only eager beavers about Whitters performance.
Heidi Range told Sky Showbiz: "Me and the girls agree that she's one of the reasons every girl wants to be a singer. We got close to her before at Fashion Rocks and we were all just staring so I can't wait to see her perform."
Fellow musical type Ronan Keating added: "She's got an incredible catalogue of songs and she's a real talent, she's got a great voice, what a voice. She's a real talent, you can't knock her on it."

The Legends Ball, London
The Cheeky Girls and acres of chest have had a night out. The twosome joined a pile of other celebs for the Legends Ball in London.
Crikey, there's waaaaay too much going on upfront here.
But when we got nattering to the girls we managed to speak to them rather than their boobs.
