And one thing's for certain - it's not his lovely wife Eve Mavrakis.
But never fear, oh nervous ones.
Ewan is actually filming his new movie, an untitled project directed by the legend that is Woody Allen.
And the mystery brunette he's snogging under Brighton Pier is, in fact, his co-star actress Hayley Atwell.
Unfortunately, we won't get to see them or the film's other stars - Colin Farrell and Tom Wilkinson - in action until 2007.
