It's only taken six and a half years...
But Winona Ryder has finally broken the silence about her shoplifting episode.
The Beetlejuice star was charged with grand theft after being arrested in Beverly Hills in December 2001.
She reportedly stole clothes and accessories to the value of £3,295 from swanky Saks Fifth Avenue in LA.
Why a movie star would nick such items whilst probably wiping her bum with fivers, we've no idea.
Speaking about the bizarre pilfering in the August issue of Vogue, Winona says she didn't feel that bad.
But Winny reckons the whole affair to be rather embarassing.
She said: "I didn't have this tremendous sense of guilt, because I hadn't hurt anyone.
"Had I physically harmed someone or caused harm to a human being, I think it would have been an entirely different experience."
"I never said a word. I didn't release a statement. I didn't do anything. I just waited for it to be over.
"The attention was what was embarrassing."
Nothing like completely downplaying an event which sent you into self-imposed exile for years.
But this year, Winona is set for a comeback with no less than three movies in the pipeline. Let's hope she can still remember how it's done.
