Guess who's getting ready to "boldly go where no man has gone before"...
None other than Ms Winona Ryder.
And no, we haven't taken a trip to planet Out Of Our Minds.
Winona is the latest star to be signed up for the new Star Trek movie, reports Variety.
Apparently Win will play the human mother of Vulcan Spock.
She'll join other stars who've signed up, such as British star Simon Pegg, actor Zachary Quinto (Sylar in Heroes) and Chris Pine, who's rumoured to be playing Captain Kirk.
The movie, due to be released in December next year, will be directed by Lost's JJ Abrams.
