So much so, she is now considering a duet.

And we think this could be a match made in heaven.

Adele was immediately drawn to Laura's vocal abilities when she was a guest on The Xtra Factor a fortnight ago.

When "Lauragate" broke, it seemed the whole world (well, the ITV-viewing public) was shocked, and so too was Adele.

"Can you believe Laura went?" she said to the Daily Mirror, wading in with the same comment everyone else has made this week. "I think she is brilliant."

But then Adele, who is currently performing at several hotspots around London, made a more interesting announcement.Laura WhiteLaura White

"I have been thinking about who I can duet with for my next gig at the Roundhouse, Camden in December and Laura popped into my head," she said.

"I would love to sing with her."

This is fab news for the singing wannabe, who is no doubt still reeling from the result of last week's show.

And we're sure that Laura will be keen to take up the offer, with her reciprocating Adele's feelings.

"I love all of her songs," she gushed on The Xtra Factor. "I am such a big fan of her work."

We can't wait to hear the outcome ladies.
