It's not the smartest move to slag off a whole city.
Especially if it's the city you live in and where your husband earns millions playing for the local football team.
But that hasn't stopped the Wag-tastic Alex Curran declaring that Liverpool is "rough".
Risking the wrath of Liverpudlians everywhere, the perma-tanned wife of Steven Gerrard says the nightclubs attract the "wrong type of people".
In an interview with new! magazine, she said: "It's not the same any more. To be honest, it's rough.
"Everywhere new that opens attracts the wrong type of people.
"It's not nice, so I haven't bothered to go out."
We're not sure we'd dare go out after those comments.
The people of Liverpool are famously proud of their hometown, something which Merseyside-born Alex seems to have forgotten.
Rubbing salt in the wound, her interview has come out just as she and Steven were spotted enjoying a night out in London, and days after he was cleared of assault.
Many fans in Liverpool stood behind Steven during the trial, clapping and encouraging him outside court.
Will they be so supportive now?
