Alexandra Burke's success is growing by the second.
Now the X Factor finalist has the chance to make it big stateside.
The singer has just landed a £3.5m record deal in the US.
According to the Sun, American record label Epic has signed Alex after her Christmas single Hallelujah beat sales records.
And after the ink dried on the contract paper this week, the talented lady said she's ecstatic about the possibilities.
"I'd love to crack the US. After seeing Coldplay take away the awards at the Grammys, I was so inspired," she told the Sun.
Alex's contract states that she will record up to five albums under the label.
Apparently after her first album is released in the UK under her current deal, she will fly stateside early next year.
Epic's album launches are said to be impressive, and judging by the success of other big stars like Rihanna and Beyonce, whose careers were also launched by the label, it looks like Alex could be set for major stardom.
Industry leaders also believe that Alex will appeal to many Americans and could be as big as Leona Lewis.
"Epic thinks that Alex can follow in Leona's footsteps. The US market loves women with big voices - and Alex certainly has that," an industry insider told the Sun.
"If she comes close to Leona's success, it will be a job well done."
