And now Alex has been spotted cuddling up to a glamour model - called Jordan.

Hopefully Alex will get off lightly, as the model, called Rebecca Jordan, was merely getting Katie's cage-fighter beau to sign her arm as he made aJordan Jordan leaving Newcastle after her noth-east book signings personal appearance at Kent's Escape nightclub on Saturday.

Alex, who made his entrance at the club in a pink Hummer, then reportedly went back to Katie's Sussex home after she flew in from book-signings in the north-east.

Today Katie's mum has spoken out to defend her 31-year-old daughter in the aftermath of her acrimonious break-up from Peter Andre.

Amy, 56, told The Mirror: "I'm so angry and somebody has to start sticking up for Katie. As much as I don't want to say anything, people have to hear the truth."

She said of Peter: "He's a great actor and can turn it on and off.

"When filming was on, he was always quite bubbly, but I have seen Peter when he's on one of his lows, especially when he's manipulative, moody and verbally aggressive."

A spokeswoman for Peter said: "This is not worth commenting on."
