There's huzzah-type news for Whitney Houston.
And she's probably very happy.
A judge in Hawaii has dropped misdemeanour drug charges against the star.
According to IMDB, the judge has dropped charges, which related to an incident in 2000 when Whitney was suspected of possessing marijuana while going through a Hawaiian aiport with ex-hubby Bobby Brown.
Whitney was en route to board to a flight to San Francisco at the time.
A substance abuse assessment is said to have been submitted in February 2008 by a New Jersey substance abuse counsellor and it stated that Whitney doesn't require treatment for substance abuse and is now cleared of all charges.
Whitney's record label has said she's been free from illegal substances for three years now.
Good work, Whitney.
