Amy Winehouse Amy Winehouse's time out in St Lucia is not without its drama.

The singer has shocked her fellow holidaymakers by appearing with a painful-looking burn mark on her leg.

Friends of the star say she got the nasty burn after scalding herself while cooking on the Caribbean island.

"Amy was making herself a bowl of pasta when the pot fell over and she was scalded by boiling water," a pal told Metro.

The explanation contradicts earlier reports that the scar is the result of a cigarette burn.

Amy's injury comes as her mum expressed relief that her daughter is apart from estranged husband Blake Fielder-Civil.

Janis Winehouse told Heat magazine she welcomed reports that Blake has allegedly fathered a love child while in rehab - because it means Amy will get over him more quickly.

"Amy needs to be hurt by him, in order to see him for what he really is," she told Heat magazine.

"In a way, this will be good for her, as it will open up her eyes. I just hope that this revelation helps to get the divorce moving."
