Could you be seeing Amy Winehouse at a cinema near you soon?
Well, if there's any truth to these latest rumblings, it's certainly a possibility.
Apparently, Amy has been offered her very first movie role.
According to The Sun, the singer has been sent a script from Hollywood hotshots, Universal Pictures.
"The movie is a bit like Michelle Pfeiffer's film Dangerous Minds," a source told the paper.
It's said Amy will play a music teacher in the flick, taking good advantage of her current career.
As for a co-star, if rumours are to be believed, Amy's hit gold.
Irish hunk Jonathan Rhys Meyer is apparently in talks to rub shoulders with Amy in the flick.
Now all they need is for Coolio to provide a song for the soundtrack...
