Amy Winehouse has had her say in court.
The singer reckons she was afraid of the woman she is accused of assaulting at a ball last September.
Wino told the judge yesterday: "She was bigger than me. I pushed my arm upwards. I just wanted to get her away. I was scared."
Describing the incident, she said of her accuser, 27-year-old Sherene Flash: "Suddenly, out of nowhere, she's got her arm around me, her face next to mine, and there's a camera in front of me.
"I was like, 'Hello? Do I get a choice in this. Hello?'"
Sherene's version of events went like this: "She looked drunk. She looked maybe like she was on drugs or something. She punched forcefully in my right eye. I started crying."
A recording of a 999 call Sherene made was played to the hearing at the City of London Magistrates Court.

She told the operator she had been: "punched in the face by someone". When asked who, she replied: "Amy Winehouse, of all f****** people."
Bet the operator had to stifle a giggle at hearing that.
The trial continues.
In the meantime check out our video below of Amy arriving at court.
