The odds at William Hill were Verne to win 1-5.
But Verne came in fourth place, the crowd mirroring our cries of support at the tellybox and shouting: "Put him back in the house."
Coolio was in third place and Terry Christian came in second, which leaves, yes, you've worked it out - Ulrika-ka-ka Jonsson as the gold medal winner with 56.7% of the vote.
Bizarre, no? The bookies had her on at a paltry 12-1.
Ulri-ka-ka-ka could hardly believe the news herself, saying: "Oh my God. That is just bonkers."
We quite agree, m'lady.
So, Ulrika joins the likes of Shilpa Shetty and Chantelle Houghton in the annals of CBB history.
What a lucky girl.
