It's been a labour just waiting for the news...
But it's finally been confirmed today that Angelina Jolie has given birth.
Ange and her fella Brad Pitt welcomed their twin girl and boy on Saturday night in southern France.
The couple had us on a merry dance back in May when rumours circulated one cloudy Friday afternoon that Angelina had given birth, but her legal eagles later confirmed that it was all just a hoax.
Knox Leon and Vivienne Marcheline have become little siblings to the couple's four other
children: Maddox, Zahara, Pax Thien and Shiloh.
The obstetrician who delivered the twins, Dr Michel Sussmann, said Ange, the babies and Brad, "are doing marvellously well".
Dr Sussmann said Ange gave birth by Caesarean section and added that the laddie weighed 5lb 3oz and the girl 5lb.
"Everything is going well," said Dr Sussmann.
He added that the Caesarean was moved forward from its originally planned date "for medical reasons" so that the babies could be born "in the best conditions". But he did not give details.
Ange is expected to stay in the hospital for a few more days.
