But up until now his identity has remained a secret.

So let's blow the top right off this showbiz mystery...

Anne's dating actor Adam Shulman.

We are also in the dark about his background - but we did some digging and found out that he's been in American telly drama American Dreams and had bit-parts in The West Wing and The DukesAdam Shulman of Hazzard: The Beginning.

Anyhoo, it seems the two are very much coupled-up.

Anne first spoke about  her new boyf in October, and gushed about how she'd found a new bloke.

This all happened five months after she split from her now jailed boyfriend of four years, Raffaello Follieri.

The newbie pair have been spied on their jollies in New Orleans, where Anne is also doing a spot of promoting of her new flick, Rachel Getting Married.

It was there that Adam told Life & Style mag: "We met through mutual friends. I came to support Anne.

"We've never been to New Orleans before - it's our first time."

So he's not so secret that he won't speak to the press - very interesting indeed, Adam.
