Aimee Wright was the lady to go. 

The 18-year-old hostess from Washington got the boot after a shoot which saw the girls embodying different styles of music.

But the whole modelling lark aside, what the heck has happened this series? Has Tyra managed to find the bitchiest gals in the US?

Frankly we were hoping Claire Unabia, whose country music photo was called "comical" and "stoic" by Tyra, would get the boot just for being so unneccessarily nasty to Dominique Reighard. (OK, she was a pain with her alarm clock but slagging someone off while pretending they're not in the room, Claire? Shame on you.)

However, despite being in the bottom two, Claire was given a second chance, while Aimee received her marching orders, with Tyra telling her: "You were assigned one of the easiest themes, but you really fell flat."

Aimee was gutted to be eliminated.

"I thought I was going to go quite far," she admitted. "I think maybe the judges thought I wasn't ready for the competition."
