Tyra BanksTyra BanksIt is one word that host Tyra Banks knows all to well...

Competition was the order of last night's episode of America's Next Top Model.

So who could not take the heat in the end-of-show face-off?

Claire Unabia, a 24-year-old production coordinator from New York, was the next lass to go.

Claire lost out to Lauren Utter for her lack of chameleon qualities.

Could that have had anything to do with her taking a cringe-worthy face plant at this week's photo shoot?

After repeatedly being told not to, Claire jumped face-first on a plastic sheet of water that the models were being shot through, on-set of the Fuerza Bruta visual effect show.  Claire UnabiaClaire Unabia

The model injured herself and delayed the shoot. She also failed to shine at the go-sees, when the models were split into teams to compete against each other.

Maybe it was karma after last week's bitchfest, when Claire slagged off fellow model Dominique Reighard for her annoying alarm clock.

"We feel like there is only one note," said Tyra of Claire's lack of versatility. "You could have worked your angles better."

But it seemed that runner-up Lauren copped most of Tyra tirade with the host telling her: "One of the judges compared you to Frankenstein."

Ouch, Tyra, you can be so harsh...
