Ashley Cole wants revenge...
And some cold harsh cash, apparently.
The footballer is hoping to eek out £200,000 from the Daily Mirror and Sunday Mirror newspapers.
Ash is suing the papers for invasion of privacy, stemming from stories printed in January and February that he allegedly had sex with three different ladies.
The allegations rocked his marriage with Cheryl Cole, and caused a whole lot of furore in the media.
Ash, who is still with Cheryl, is said to be embarrassed and "gravely distressed" about the scandalous stories.
The case will now go to trial in the High Court.
At the preliminary hearing, Ash's lawyer, David Sherbourne, told the High Court: "(The) stories were an unjustified intrusion into Cole's private life and motivated by money.
"We say they calculated that it was worth invading the claimant's privacy because of the profit that would result."
Alexandra Marzec, a lawyer representing the newspapers, hit back by saying: "The celebrity couple had put a mass of personal information into the public domain and continue to do so."
Wow, this looks like it may get ugly.
The trial will run for about a month with as many as 28 witnesses called to give evidence.
