But it appears that Ashlee Simpson and Pete Wentz ain't being so coy.

They've been flouting their unborn bubba's secret.

Of course, we have to let you know that they haven't come out and confirmed it - but if actions speak louder than words we'd hazard a guess that their bundle is going to be a boy.

You see, when Ash and Pete listed the baby requirements on a gift register at swanky LA baby boutique Petit Tresor and ordered all things boy like, we kind of took the hint.

A source told OK! magazine: "Almost everything is blue. They made it very clear that it was a boy."

They added that the twosome bought a selection of t-shirts and bibs with the words Hunk, Loved and Yummy emblazoned on the front.

Ash and Pete are set to visit the baby boutique again next week to discuss the nursery - so we'll be keeping our peepers peeled for blue colour schemes and other little-man tell-tale signs.
