NBC Today host Matt Lauer told David Beckham he loved his suit during an interview.

So the big-hearted football star promptly took it off and handed it over.

A surprised Matt revealed: "I admired his suit, he came down in jeans and gave me the suit off his back."

But after receiving his shock gift, Matt's thinking twice about wearing it.

He joked: "I am selling it on eBay, are you kidding me? His underwear is back in the dressing room."
