And now Billie Piper has been photographed for the first time as a mum.

The 26-year-old was snapped on a family outing near her home in West Sussex.

Billie, her husband Laurence Fox and their new tot, Winston, formed a gorgeous family trio, as they popped out to do their shopping.

The Secret Diaries Of A Call Girl star appeared tired but proud as she tenderly checked on her tiny son, who was being carried in a sling attached to Laurence's chest.

Billie gave birth to Winston in London's Portland hospital last month.

The actress had a tough delivery, with Laurence telling reporters:

"It was an emergency Caesarean. I'm tired but not as tired as her (Billie), no doubt. It was long and hard. She was in labour for more than 24 hours."

Billie's close pal and ex-hubby, Chris Evans, who visited the actress in hospital, said:

"He (Winston) is cute as you like and didn't cry once for the few minutes I was there, which was just a few moments ago."

Well, it's brill to see the new mum out and about, her sweet little sprog in tow (well, based on what Chris says, he's sweet - we can't really tell from this angle).
