Now word from the Hollywood street has it that Britney Spears' ex is making a comeback.

We're talking Adnan Ghalib, of course.

Britney split from her unlikely paparazzi beau shortly after she was admitted into a psychiatric unit in Los Angeles earlier this year.

Their short-lived and somewhat random relationship attracted lots of attention - not least because some unconfirmed source speculated that Adnan was tipping off his own photo agency for snaps of the two together.

However, the most recent chit-chat has it that Brit is still in contact with Adnan - and that the two may even be dating once more.

TMZ reports that Adnan has been spotted sneaking in and out of the gated community in LA where Brit lives.

Insiders also suggest that the twosome have been keeping up a happy flow of mobile phone texts.

However, since speculation about Brit's love life is about as constant as a roller coaster, we won't be holding our breath quite yet.

But rest assured, we'll be keeping a strict eye on Adnan and his movements from now on.
