Britney Spears Britney Spears We all know how tough the last couple of years have been for Britney Spears.

And we've been impressed by her comeback - she appears happier than ever.

But her new revelations suggest we may have her all wrong.

In a new documentary (that we kindly told you about a while back), Britney: For The Record, which is airing on Sky 1 this December, the singer reveals the agony of her very public meltdown and the existence that has followed.

Brit likens her new controlled life to the movie Groundhog Day, and believes that at times it is worse than jail.

"There is no excitement, there is no passion," she says.

"I have really good days, and then I have bad days. Even when you go to jail you know there's the time when you are gonna get out."

She goes on: "I think it's too in control. If I wasn't under the restraints I am under, I'd feel so liberated.

"When I tell the way I feel, it's like they hear, but they're not really listening."

Brit also reveals that she only noticed her fame after the breakdown, and that her superstar lifestyle is all she has ever known.

"I think I've learnt my lesson now and enough is enough," she says.

Wow, it seems that Brit has really let off a bit of steam.
