Britney Spears isn't rid of troubles yet; she is being sued.
The megastar's former bezzie mate Sam Lutfi yesterday filed a lawsuit against Britney and her parents for libel and defamation.
The producer says he has been caused "distress" and "humiliation" by the Spears' claims he controlled Britney's life by drugging her and controlling her finances.
He cites Lynne Spears' recent book Through The Storm and says it's filled with "false statements".
The producer, who once acted as Brit's manager, says her mum damaged his rep by claiming he had given Brit too much medicine.
He also claims he has received death threats and "has been subjected to unfathomable amounts of ridicule and public scorn".
And if that wasn't enough, Sam also claims Britney's dad, Jamie Spears, punched him in the chest in January 2008.
The latest lawsuit comes after a judge granted Jamie a restraining order against Sam on Saturday.
Britney's other old associate, paparazzo Adnan Ghalib, was subject to the same order.
