Britney Spears may well be hitting our shores very soon.
But she ain't coming for a jolly.
She's going to show that she's got the X Factor...
Simon Cowell has been gunning to get her on the show and he may well have now got his wish.
The word is that she'll be performing her new single, Womanizer, on the show in December.
We're hopping with excitement at this news - we only hope that it's not too soon since all her woes.
An insider on the show told The Sun: "Everyone is thrilled. To have Britney involved is a massive coup. They expect ratings to go through the roof when her performance airs."
Meanwhile Brit's mum, Lynne, has been defending herself, saying she didn't push Brit into fame in the first place: "Britney pushed me. What was I to do? Persuade my child not to go after her dreams?"
Lynne told US telly viewers: "She was in high school, was the homecoming maid and was most popular. She had everything going for her."
But even after all her recent strife that came with the "ugly side of fame" Lynne reckons she's "headed to the top again... we're through the storm and looking at the sunshine".
