But before you get too worried, we should point out that Brooke is not for real here.

That is, contrary to how things appear, the star has not actually been involved in a violent fracas, nor has she been apprehended by police.

Though judging by the sign, she would quite like to be.

In her latest spoof MySpace profile pic, 20-year-old Brooke brandishes a message which reads:

"I'd rather be with my brother".

This, of course, is in reference to her 18-year-old bro, Nick, who was sentenced in May to eight months in jail for his part in a car crash which left his friend critically injured.

OK, then.

We know Brooke must be missing Nick, but we're not wholly sure if this is the most effective way to express her feelings.
