Catherine Zeta-Jones is going to love this...
The Welsh beauty has been described as the second best ideal leading lady to take over a very famous role.
The writer of Doctor Who has said that if a woman were to slip a stiletto into the Tardis he'd like it to be Catherine Zeta-Jones... but only if actress Lesley Sharp can't do it.
Russell T Davies said: "Lesley Sharp would be my favourite. After that I would choose Catherine Zeta-Jones, because she is Welsh."
Oh right, not because she's a half-decent actress, Russ?
Could a role in Doctor Who persuade CZJ away from the A-list Hollywood life to a stint on British telly?
We can't imagine Catherine, 39, would settle for being second choice.
Or filming in the cold for months on end in Wales.
Mind you, it wouldn't be the first time Cath has graced our small screens - she rocked our world in Darling Buds Of May over 15 years ago.
Concluding on his female chat Russell said: "I think the more people talk about there being a female Doctor Who, the more likely it is going to happen."
Well maybe if Russ asks Cath a bit nicer we might see her time travelling on the box.
