King Kong is leader of the pack for the Empire Awards 2006, with five nominations.
The film looks set to sweep the board at this year's awards with nods for best film, best actor, best actress, best director and best sci-fi/fantasy.

It was snowing in West London, as the Albert Hall hosted the Royal Premiere for The Lion, The Witch And The Wardrobe.

Getting Lost and the last series of Six Feet Under on screen ahead of the autumn schedule was a brave move, but kept us going in an otherwise desperately quiet time. But now - rejoice!
