She's defo the new X Factor judge - alongside Dannii Minogue.

Dannii said she was "thrilled" that Cheryl will be joining The X Factor, just days after Sharon Osbourne quit.

Cheryl, who last night signed a contract worth a reported £1m, spoke of her excitement.

She said: "Although it's scary joining a huge programme like The X Factor, it's a massive honour to be following in the footsteps of Sharon. It will be brilliant."

But how's she going to juggle her Girls Aloud duties too?

"I'm prepared to work like a bitch," Cheryl added.

She said: "The rest of the girls have said they're right behind me, which is really important.

"It will be weird to be on the other side of the fence this time."

Things have just got a little bit more interesting we feel.
