Dannii Minogue and Cheryl Cole Dannii Minogue and Cheryl Cole Cheryl Cole has set the record straight.

It seems she's not a fan of feud rumours...

And insists she really doesn't like to bitch.

Ever since she shot to fame in 2002, Cheryl has been embroiled in rumours about catfights, whether it be slanging matches with Charlotte Church or talk of tension with Dannii Minogue.

But the star's keen to clear the air of her reputation for scrapping with other women, telling The Daily Mail:

"I have learnt from my mistakes and I'm quite self-critical. If you go back into the history of the so-called feuds, what they materialised from was me defending myself. I don't go out of my way to bitch.

"I love Charlotte's stuff and that's why it makes me sad, because these stories are creating a false image of me.Charlotte ChurchCharlotte Church

"I was crying, in a state, and went through a phase when I wouldn't leave the house. I drove my publicist mad with phone calls about this feud or that feud."

Brushing aside rumours of a rift between her and co-judge Dannii, Cheryl continued:

"Most of my friends are in their 30s like Dannii, and she's in her prime.

"The horrible assumption that women working together must be jealous of each other is a stupid stereotype which is not true, because Girls Aloud wouldn't be here if it was."

Bitching aside, Cheryl also broached another big b-subject - that of babies.

"Girls Aloud wouldn't break up if I had a baby, but it would change the dynamics," she said.

But before you get too over-excited on sprog chatter, Chez went on to insist that bubbas aren't top of the agenda for her quite yet:

"We have been working non-stop and there will come a time when you have to prioritise things, but I'm just focused on what I'm doing with the girls right now."
