Footballer Ashley Cole has found himself in trouble with the law.
Reports say he was issued with a fixed penalty notice after an alleged drunken confrontation with police in the early hours of this morning.
According to the Daily Mirror, Ashley was detained after he allegedly swore at officers after a night at The Collection in South Kensington.
Apparently, he launched into a rant and refused to tone down his language. Following this he was apparently taken away in handcuffs and given an £80 fine.
A Metropolitan Police spokesperson told Sky Showbiz: "A 28-year-old man was arrested at 02:15 this morning in Brompton Road on suspicion of being drunk and disorderly.
"The man was issued with a fixed penalty notice and released just after 05:30."
So far there's been no word from Cheryl or Ashley's people.
